Meet Kasarah Gregg


Functional Nutrition Counselor & Massage Therapist

Hi! My name is KaSarah. I became a massage therapist at the Coeur d’Alene School of Massage in 2017. I had my own practice at Simplicity Day Spa, then started a traveling massage therapy business called Nomadic Touch. Years later, I moved to the Teton Valley to help start a spa at a beautiful resort under the Teton mountain range.

I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis in 2018 and decided that I was going to take my health back into my own hands. I was able to get my symptoms under control without any disruptive medications or invasive surgeries by learning more about my body through diet and lifestyle changes.
The drive I had to become healthier, fueled my desire to help people on a deeper level in my massage practice, which then led me to continue my education in Functional Nutrition, through the Functional Nutrition Alliance. I became a nutrition counselor in 2022 and now helping clients take control of their health in Nevada, Washington, and Idaho.

As a previous whitewater guide and recreational connoisseur, I have found a better quality of life through healthier lifestyle choices. I managed to find a way to appreciate the art of being outdoors every season. When I’m not working in health & wellness, I’m hunting, snowmobiling, dirt biking, whitewater rafting, and hiking.

My philosophy is to find sacredness in all the elements which can be best achieved through healthy habits, being outdoors, and in relationship with God.

By analyzing where you are in your life and health, you can methodically structure yourself to meet health goals. We’ll dive deep, leaving no stone unturned, to make sure we’ve got a really clear picture of YOU before we get started.

By determination, we can devise a clear plan based on what we discovered in our analysis of who you are and how you spend your days. We will define why you are doing this and keep that why highlighted throughout our sessions. The why and accountability is what will keep you motivated to keep working through any setbacks.

By implementing your personal plan, you put the motion of daily achievements into action. I say daily because we must take this process step by step, one foot in front of the other. Healing takes time and pathologies did not pop up overnight. As we focus on actions that take you closer to your goals, the process will grow and evolve to fit you. You might try something out that you don’t like or that just doesn’t work for you, so we’ll tweak it and try something new. You might come across roadblocks and self-sabotage in which case we will need to work together to address. Implementation is the most important process.

By the process of transformation, you can see what you’ve implemented through your healthy habits and overall wellbeing. Through this new variation of yourself, you will see healthy habits and lifestyle that go beyond our coaching engagement. You will experience a sustainable change in your life so you can feel better in the long term.

Detoxification

Through the ADIT Method we will reframe nutrition through the art of counseling. I will provide tools to help you keep better track of medications, supplements, lab draws, sleep patterns, symptoms, and food/mood/poop journal. By the implementation of these tools, we can get a closer look at the bigger picture and achieve optimal detoxification through recommended protocols and antioxidant rich foods. Let’s get to the root and heal with whole foods!

Women’s Health

As a woman, I have had many issues with my reproductive health in correlation to hormone imbalances because of a Thyroid disorder. Going through that allowed me to relate to my clients and help them find balance in their bodies. Teaching them which foods are Th1 stimulants, which items can be depressants, what will help inflammation due to autoimmunity, etc. Learning everything we can in lab draws and daily habits will help us discover little tricks with foods, herbs, and supplements to achieve balance.

Weight Loss

After a close look at the whole picture (lifestyle, diet hormone panels, etc.), a fine-tuned coaching plan can be integrated to achieve weight loss goals.

Stress

Learn how to adapt to stress and to exert a normalizing effect upon bodily processes. Integrate adaptogens based on your unique needs. As some adaptogens are Thyroid stimulating, I would not recommend ginseng to an overactive thyroid. There isn’t a one-size-fits-all, so it is my job to figure out how to help you on an individual basis.

Swedish Massage

Uplifting

Swedish massage is a whole-body therapeutic treatment. One could connect this style to the air element, as the light to medium pressure and longer connecting strokes allow the sense of being uplifted – creating a calming and balancing effect on the whole nervous system.
